Shower handles and shower hoses

To clean your shower head, only use cleaning agents that are expressly intended for this area of application, ideally mild and pH-neutral cleaners. We recommend vinegar water! To clean the strainer plates and knobs, you can prepare a bowl of vinegar water and place the strainer plate in it. For more stubborn limescale deposits, you can also pour the vinegar water through the shower.

After each cleaning application, you should rinse with clear water to completely remove any residue. This also applies to residues from shower products, shampoos and liquid soaps.

You can then simply dry the surfaces with a soft cloth (microfibre) to reduce stains on the chrome surface.

Shower curtains

Wash your shower curtain regularly with a mild detergent at 30°C on a gentle cycle. After washing, hang the shower curtain back on the rail and leave it to dry undress. You should not tumble dry the shower curtain. Also, do not use bleach and do not put it in the dry cleaner.

TIP: Textile shower curtains can be ironed on a very low heat setting (level 1). Please do not iron foil shower curtains.

Bath rugs

For washing, select the delicate cycle and use a mild detergent if possible. Bath rugs must not be treated with fabric softener. Always wash the bath rug separately from other textiles and in a pillowcase.

After washing, the bath rugs should never be wrung out. Neither should they be dried on a radiator or in direct sunlight. After drying, the bath rugs should be shaken out vigorously to straighten the pile.

TIP: Clean the washing machine's lint filter after the wash cycle. An initial slight fluffing is normal due to the manufacturing process. However, this will diminish considerably after the first few washes.

The bath rugs can be vacuumed with a hoover with low suction power and cleaned in between to remove fluff and straighten the pile again.

Towelling rug

The towelling rugs are easy and uncomplicated to wash (40°C, like a classic towelling) and are particularly impressive thanks to their long-lasting softness.

Tub liners

You should remove the tub liner after every shower and rinse well. Then hang it up to dry to keep it looking nice.

For washing in the washing machine, select a delicate cycle (30°C) and use a mild detergent. Do not add fabric softener.

Wall mounted accessories, free standing accessories and other accessories

Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cleaning agents or disinfectants containing alcohol or acids.

Toilet seats

diaqua® toilet seats are made of easy-care and durable material. Do not clean the seat with abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents or materials. Preferably use a soft cloth and soapy water. You should check the hinges from time to time and tighten them if necessary.

Do not sit or stand on the closed lid, otherwise there is a risk of breakage!
